“Just the best campground going. Right on the river. We just love it.”

“We had the most incredible time, and loved our Koala Glampsite which slept the 5 of us comfortably … the kitchenette is equipped to cook and provide full family meals … the lighting, solar powered USB ports by each bed and the furnishing and decorating of the tent was stunning.
We just loved the feeling of sitting on the deck each morning feeling like we were over the river … we also had our tinny tied up out the front. Throw a fishing line or crabpot out, enjoy the birdlife and don’t be alarmed if you think you can hear dolphins surfacing and breathing at night. It’s dolphins.”

“The Bowerbird tiny house was so comfy and everything that makes a holiday. We loved relaxing by the camp fire every night and having BBQs. The shower was amazing and always hot. It was great to sit and watch the wildlife and hear the possums rustling outside at night. So close to the beach, National Park. What more can you want to get away from the city. Thank you Maree and Mac for a holiday to remember.”

“My family 2A + 2C recently stayed in the Koala Tent whilst my parents stayed in the Cockatoo Tiny House. What an amazing few nights away from the rush of modern life … just to sit on the deck and watch the generations of my family interact over food, wine and conversation – bliss!
Both styles of accommodation are very well appointed in luxurious ‘glamping’ style. The indoor or outdoor cooking facilities, hot showers, warm beds … To sit and watch the river change during the day and by the fire side at night was so spectacular … the best meal we had during our stay was the fresh flathead and bream caught straight from the river and onto the BBQ.”

“My husband and I stayed in the beautiful Bowerbird Tiny House for four nights … and it was idyllic. The Tiny House is in the perfect location. Fully shaded and with plenty of private outdoor space to sit by the fire or lay under a tree and read. The campsite is close to local shops, pubs and beaches so its super easy if you want to get out and do something else. The staff at Myall River were incredibly friendly and helpful. We will for sure be going back again!”

“Such a great spot for kids to swim in the river. Huge sites and a quick walk to water. Water station easy and many taps. Toilets kept clean … Kids fished in the river and caught some fish … Was a great place for a family. Going to make it an annual camp trip.”

“The campground is very spacious and there’s plenty of room between campers. Toilets are very well maintained. The campground is situated right on the river and it’s a beautiful place for anyone to visit – we especially loved it for our young family. We will definitely be back.”

“The camp area is brilliant …The sites down near the river are big enough for the caravan and a setup on the outside. The free range camping up the top gives you the freedom to have your own space right away from everyone.“

“I celebrated my 50th birthday at Myall River Camp with 60+ friends and family in the private campsite area set back from the river. We had the whole place to ourselves, beneath the stars and the gums. I can't rate the service we received in organising this event highly enough. Maree and Mac were the ultimate hosts and went out of their way to make our stay perfect. We had a beautiful welcome to country, picnic on the river and gatherings around the fire. We'll be back for sure.”

“The 4th time we have visited this year (will also be back in December) Always a magical place to spend time camped by the river, a fire, red wine and watch the world go by (and some dolphins). Highly recommended … Hawks Nest is only 5 minutes away to pick up any essentials and the beach just beyond that.”

“We booked the glamping tent for my parents and 3 waterfront camp sites. The glamping tent was incredible! Extremely large, great layout and a beautiful sun-drenched lounge overlooking the river was perfect. We had dolphins come past at sunset, caught a flat head straight off the bank and cooked on the fire. The camp sites were large and perfect for any set up from caravans to swags! Great little quite spot for a relaxing weekend away!”

“The Kookaburra tent was a gift from my family for my birthday and what a true gift it was! We were able to cook a family feast by the river… dolphins every evening at dusk, beautiful place to fish. The view was incredible wherever you turned your head. The Tent and facilities where modern with eco-friendly services. The staff are friendly and keen to make your stay a pleasant one.”

“Arriving to a softly lit Tiny Home nestling amongst the trees was truly magical. Waking up to birdsong and the soft gurgle of the river in the morning was even better. The Tiny Homes are … thoughtfully placed in a gorgeous secluded leafy corner, so you feel like you have your own ‘cabin in the woods’.”

“An easy drive from Sydney, you'll find this hidden gem. Marie and Mac, the caretakers run a great business and make you feel like you are family. Well maintained this campground offers so much and more, with easy river access for a boat.”

“My husband and I spent a week in the Glamping Tent to say it’s amazing is an understatement. Such a relaxing environment in nature without compromising on luxury. The tent was spacious and inviting. Management were very accommodating, helpful and lovely people to talk to. Waking up in the mornings we got to enjoy a coffee on the deck while dolphins swam past.”

“My wife and I wanted a bit of glamping luxury for our anniversary, and this place delivered. We loved the setup of the tent, everything laid out perfectly, the BBQ, amenities, and kitchen equipment all well stocked and available just where you think it should be. But the best feature was how close it was to the river. We were able to pick up our stand-up paddle boards and launch straight away, no fuss.”

The houses are set back slightly from the main camping providing a lovely sense of privacy. Nature, wildlife, river, lovely beaches.”
