LIABILITY

The person registering as the guest at Myall River Camp shall be liable for any loss or damage to the fixtures and all fittings in the Glamping Tent and the private area where the tents are located. Myall River Camp or Campground Management will not be held responsible for, or liable to compensate loss, theft, or damage to personal property on, or brought into the Glamping Tent or in its immediate vicinity. Persons entering the Campground do so by accepting personally and severally all risks and waiver all claims against the Proprietor.

As Myall River Camp is situated in the Australian bush, guests are responsible for having basic wilderness survival skills. These include not approaching wildlife and keeping food out of its reach.

Myall River Camp will not be held responsible for any damage or injury caused by falling branches while on the property.

Additionally, as the Campground is located riverside, guests are responsible for their own water safety. All children must be supervised by an adult at all times due to the proximity of the river and billabongs, as well as wildlife in this natural environment.

The Glamping Tents must be left in a tidy condition, with no food left behind, zips closed, and tents locked. Items particular to each tent such as decorations and kitchenware should be kept in that unique tent.

Leaving the Glamping Tents in an unfit state for re-occupation on the day of departure following a standard clean, will result in extra cleaning fees being levied. In cases when a tent cannot be re-let on the day, the daily room tariff will also be charged, following discussions with Campground Management, until it can be returned to a saleable condition.

ACCOMMODATION CAPACITY

KOALA TENT – 6 people
KOOKABURRA TENT – 4 people
PELICAN TENT – 4 people

The facilities in the off-grid Glamping Tents have been designed for the specified number of guests only and cannot sustain a greater load. Over-use of the facilities by more than the permitted guests, including the composting toilets and showers, could lead to significant power loss. One power socket in each of the tents is provided to charge laptops ONLY. If any 240v electrical device is connected to this power board (such as a hairdryer or hair straightener) unfortunately power will be cut to the entire tent.

In addition, no tents, caravans, campervans etc are permitted in the private Glamping area. This area is reserved for the exclusive use of Glamping guests including the sandy river access point.

Children nine years and under are not permitted in the Glamping Tents or the private area containing the tents.

The designated area for the Glamping Tents is for the exclusive use of Glamping Tent customers. Visitors are not permitted.

OFF- GRID FACILITIES

As we are an off-grid campground, our facilities in our Glamping Tents are subject to the elements and other variables. While we will make every effort to ensure all facilities and equipment are functioning for your stay, Myall River Camp Management does not take responsibility for refunding guests if this equipment fails. This includes the shower, cooktop, fridge etc. If a problem is experienced by guests it is imperative that they inform Campground Management immediately so that efforts can be made to rectify the issues. Guests should take special note of maximum capacity numbers, conserve power and read the visitor book provided to understand how to properly use the off-grid facilities provided.

The tents have state-of-the-art composting toilets. To ensure their optimum operation guests are responsible for following the instructions provided. Placing anything other than that specified in the toilet will incur a hefty repair fee.

SMOKING

Smoking is strictly prohibited in and around the Glamping Tents and their outdoor undercover areas.

PETS

NO PETS are allowed in the Campground as part of our operating permit.

FIRES

There is a communal fire pit for use by Glamping Tent guests only. Pallets, glass or cans are not permitted to be burned in the fire pit. Strictly adhere to all fire restrictions, including total fire ban status. If in doubt, ask our staff or check the RFS website for fire bans. Fires cannot be lit when windy due to the increased risks. It is also your responsibility to extinguish a fire before leaving it. No ash from fires to be emptied at the base of trees due to fire risk.

A 10pm noise curfew applies across the Campground. Please respect others at all times.
