We reserve the right to modify or amend our terms and conditions of booking from time to time at our discretion. When changes are made to the conditions, we will amend the revision date at the bottom of this page.
We encourage you to periodically review these conditions to ensure you are informed.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
Check-in: from 1pm
Check-out: before 12 noon
All guests can check-in online by completing a Covid-19 declaration form emailed to them 48 hours prior to arrival. Once check-in is complete a boom gate access code will be issued via email including site number and Campground map. This access code is assigned to your car ONLY and must not to be shared.
Please inform us no later than the day before arrival if you plan to arrive after hours.
Prior to check-in guests are required to provide a valid credit card that would cover any incidental charges. This would include damage, breakages, theft and losses on campsites that are the responsibility of the person whose name the booking is under.
Day visitors to the Campground are to pay a $10 per car entry fee. They will be given a time-limited boom gate code. It is the visitor’s responsibility to follow the Campground rules or face eviction.
Importantly, all guests and day visitors must agree to comply with all government guidelines related to COVID-19. Please note, a COVID-19 declaration must be completed by ALL guests and visitors to the Campground prior to entry.
Campground Management reserves the right to alter pricing and campsite numbering at any time. All bookings are non-transferrable and must not be on-sold.
Full payment is required at the time of booking to reserve a campsite.
Whilst we endeavour to meet our guest’s requests, site preference is not guaranteed. A group booking can be made via phone and requires a $200 refundable bond.
We reserve the right to refuse entry or evict any person reasonably believed to:
- Not be the person named on the booking.
- Not be authorised to use the credit or debit card produced.
- Be younger than 18 years old and not accompanied by a responsible adult
- Be concealing a pet (no pets are permitted under our operating permit)
- Be exceeding the capacity limit for their site or accommodation.
- Attempting to share a boom gate code
- Failing to follow Campground signage and/or staff instruction.
- Displaying anti-social behaviour, including aggression, violence, intoxication or vandalism.
- Failing to take adequate supervision of persons under their care.
The consumption of drugs or under-age drinking is strictly prohibited and will result in booking termination without refund and notification to the authorities.
Please note, security cameras are placed throughout the Campground.
The person registering as the guest at Myall River Camp shall be liable for any loss or damage to campsites. Myall River Camp or Campground Management will not be held responsible for, or liable to compensate for loss, theft, or damage to personal property on, or brought onto the site or in its immediate vicinity. Persons entering the Campground do so by accepting personally and severally all risks and waiver all claims against the Proprietor.
As Myall River Camp is situated in the Australian bush, guests are responsible for having basic wilderness survival skills. These include not approaching wildlife and keeping food out of its reach.
Myall River Camp will not be held responsible for any damage or injury caused by falling branches while on the property. Guests are advised to check campsites prior to setting up and be aware of branches overhead.
Additionally, as the Campground is located riverside, guests are responsible for their own water safety. All children must be supervised by an adult at all times due to the proximity of the river and billabongs, as well as wildlife in this natural environment.
Campsites must be kept clean and tidy. On departure, all firewood and rubbish is to be removed and placed in correct bins. A $40 clean-up fee will be charged on exit if a site is left in an unsatisfactory condition.
Campsite group bookings
A bond of $200 is required on entry for group bookings. The bond will be refundable on exit, if the site & facilities are left the way they were found.

CANCELLATIONS & DATE CHANGES
Any cancellation or change of date request must be made by email in line with the refund policies outlined below.
Please note, bookings will not be rescheduled or refunded due to weather conditions.
If you do not arrive on your reservation date, your booking will be cancelled, and you will not receive a refund or credit. Tariffs are not refundable if your stay is cut short.
If a date change is allowed, it will be considered a new booking and subject to the standard cancellation policy. Only one change is permitted per booking and any future change will mean the total booking amount will be forfeited.
We encourage all guests to ensure they have adequate travel insurance.
SPECIAL COVID-19 Flexible Booking Policy
You will be given the option to re-book within the 12-month period if travel restrictions, imposed by Government directives, impact your ability to travel to Myall River Camp.
If you or anyone in your booking is unwell, please stay home and join us at a later date. Guests can also re-book dates within the 12-month period with written evidence of ill health; or if they are awaiting a Covid test result or self-isolating.
A Covid-19 declaration form must be completed by ALL guests and visitors prior to entry. This form is emailed to guests ahead of their arrival to enable contactless check-in.
Christmas holiday period bookings
Cancellations made 60 days prior to arrival date will be refunded in full, less a $30 administration fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations made within 60 days of arrival date.
Other peak periods including Easter, long weekends and NSW school holidays
Cancellations made 30 days prior to arrival date will be refunded in full, less a $30 administration fee. No refunds will be paid for cancellations made within 30 days of arrival date.
Non-peak period bookings
Cancellations made 14 days prior to arrival date will be refunded in full, less a $30 administration fee. No refunds will be paid for cancellations made within 14 days of arrival date.
No more than six people per campsite.
NO PETS are allowed in the Campground as part of our operating permit.
All fires must be contained in a fire pit elevated off the ground. Pallets, glass or cans are not permitted to be burned in fire pits. Strictly adhere to all fire restrictions, including total fire ban status. If in doubt, ask our staff or check the RFS website for fire bans. Fires cannot be lit when windy due to the increased risks. It is also your responsibility to extinguish a fire before leaving it. No ash from fires to be emptied at the base of trees due to fire risk.
A 10pm noise curfew applies across the Campground. Please respect others at all times.
The operation of generators is permitted at camping sites between 10am to 1pm and 3pm to 5pm. Only 4-stroke generators are allowed.
Strict 10km speed limit – walking pace.
Road rules apply within the Campground including safe driving.
No unregistered vehicles permitted.
